Mason Brewing Co are preparing to stage and Oktoberfest event at their Threemilestone, Truro, base, on the evening of 27th September.

Mason Oktoberfest

Known for pushing the boundaries of craft beer, Mike Mason is pulling out all the stops to bring an authentic yet unique Oktoberfest experience to Cornwall.

The star attraction will be Salt and Steam Smoked Pretzel Stout, a collaboration with Steam Town Brew Co, from Eastleigh, Hampshire. It promises to tantilise tastebuds with its rich, smokey notes and a salty pretzel after-flavour.

“We’re also serving our beloved Bavarian Lager, Alpenglow, which promises to transport you straight to the alpine valleys with its crisp, refreshing profile — an absolute must-try during this festive occasion,” said Mike.

As well as the beer, there will be food from Smoke and Honey, their Lebanese mezze designed to complement the beer offerings. And a brass band will play rousing tunes to enhance the atmosphere.

“The taproom will be transformed with festive décor, creating an immersive Bavarian experience right here in Cornwall,” added Mike. “Guests are encouraged to embrace the spirit of Oktoberfest by dressing up in their finest dirndls and lederhosen, making it a night to remember!”
