Tickets for the Great British Beer Festival’s new-look trade event, taking place at the NEC Birmingham on Tuesday, 5th August, are now available. Entry is free for those working in the beer and pub trade.

GBBF Birmingham 2025

As well as the usual top-quality beers, ciders, and award announcements, the trade event will feature networking opportunities and a conference programme of talks and industry panels from established and rising stars in the wider industry.

Highlights will include:

  • Jonny Garrett, Craft Beer Channel founder, on his Keep Cask Alive campaign
  • Emma McClarkin OBE (BBPA) and Andy Slee (SIBA) on the government’s ongoing Access to Market Review
  • Kate Nicholls OBE (UKHospitality) on evolving consumer trends
  • Ben Gibbs (Sober Boozers Club) and Alix Blease (Lallemand) on tapping into the low- and no-alcohol revolution.

See the full programme here.

“It’s our usual trade day, but bigger and better, with an industry conference running alongside the normal free entry, Champion Beer of Britain announcement, Discovery Bar, and festival atmosphere, said GBBF organiser Adam Gent.

“This year, I’m especially pleased that we’re discussing growth in no and low beers, as we’ve worked hard on an expanded range for the festival, showing our commitment to quality and choice for all consumers.”

Submit trade ticket applications (subject to approval) here.
