The team at Harvey’s Brewery, in Lewes, East Sussex, have congratulated Miles Jenner on the 40th anniversary of his appointment as head brewer.

After graduating from Edinburgh University, Miles joined Harvey’s in 1980, becoming head brewer in 1986 and joint managing director 14 years later.
Over four decades, he has played a defining role in shaping the brewery and its beers.
Throughout his career, he has been named brewer of the year by both the All-Party Parliamentary Beer Group and the British Guild of Beer Writers, received a CAMRA special award for outstanding service to the beer industry, served as Master Brewer of the Worshipful Company of Brewers, and is president of the Brewery History Society.
“A remarkable milestone for a truly remarkable brewer,” said a spokesperson for Harvey’s.
