We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Michael Lynch as the new Head Brewer at Kildare Brewing Company.

Michael brings with him a deep well of brewing experience and creativity, having honed his craft at some of Ireland’s most respected breweries. His journey began at O’Hara’s Brewery, before leading the brewpub operation at Urban Brewing in Dublin’s Docklands. From there, he went on to join the innovation-driven Open Gate team at Diageo, and most recently contributed his skills and passion at Rascals Brewing Company in Inchicore.

Now, he’s bringing all that knowledge, flair, and fresh thinking to us here in Sallins.

“The energy here is amazing – from the brewery team to the brewpub regulars, you can feel the love for local, quality beer. I’m excited to explore what we can do with the kit here.” – Michael Lynch

Michael has hit the ground running, with new recipes, techniques, and processes already earning praise from customers at our brewpub. Whether it’s our hop-forward pale ales, classic lagers, or the ever-popular Flanagan’s Irish Stout, you’ll start to notice Michael’s touches across the range.

We’re just as excited as you are to see what comes next. With our bespoke brewing setup and Michael’s creative instincts, the next few months will be full of flavour, innovation, and (no doubt) a few surprises.

Watch this space — and if you’re visiting the brewpub soon, don’t forget to raise a glass to our newest team member.

Cheers to new beginnings and brilliant brews!
