Otter Brewery has launched its new 4.2% ABV stout, Otter Black, in the Ales From Devon tent at the Devon County Show.

The recipe includes flaked and roasted barley from Dartmoor, English Maris Otter malt, and a blend of Willamette and classic English Fuggle hops.
“We’re so proud of Otter Black and what it represents,” said Otter Brewery managing director Patrick McCaig. “It’s a beer we’ve been working on for quite some time now, and we have been so eager to share it.
“A great stout is made with great hops and barley — and this is exactly what we’ve got here. The dark and rich beer has already had such immense feedback and interest, so we’re excited to see where it takes us.”
Otter Black is now pouring in pubs across the South West, including Otter Brewery’s own pub, The Holt, in Exeter.
