East London brewery Pillars, established in 2016 and specialising in craft lager, is announcing a new product launch today, Lite Lager.

At 2.8%, it enters a market where lower-ABV beers are becoming more popular, at a time of the year when thirst-quenching sessionable brews are a must.
“We wanted to take on the American light lager, but with a Pillars twist,” said Marius Matulevicius, head brewer at Pillars Brewery.
“Our aim was to give it more body and flavour than youʼd expect from a low-ABV beer. Pillars Lite is the perfect summer companion and pairs beautifully with a barbecue.”
Pillars Lite Lager is crafted using flaked, torrefied corn and noble hops for a fresh, mildly bitter finish, says the brewer.
Pillars brews some of the UKʼs best lager, having won more than 20 awards in the last three years alone.
The brewery has undertaken multiple expansions, runs a taproom on-site, and hosts a bar at CRATE, in St James Street, London.
