Following success in Scotland, SIBA is initiating a Welsh independent beer festival, Indie Beer Cymru, which will take place on 19th and 20th September.

The event will be staged at Haverhub, in Haverfordwest, and will feature more than 100 independent Welsh beers.
It is being organised by Welsh brewers from the Society of Independent Brewers and Associates (SIBA), building on the success of the hugely popular Indie Beer Scotland event in Glasgow.
“We are delighted to be presenting the biggest selection of Welsh indie beers available anywhere, in a huge range of different beer styles — from traditional stouts and bitters, to modern IPAs and speciality beers,” said Sara Webber, one of the festival organisers.
“Indie Beer Cymru really will have something for everyone and we think the Haverhub, in Haverfordwest, is the perfect place to host this new flagship beer festival for Wales.”
The beer festival will follow the judging of the Indie Beer Awards Cymru. Winners will be announced across a range of style categories, and there will be an overall champion. Winners will be served at the festival and go on to the national finals early next year.
