Ahead of Halloween, Brew York is launching Brewcade — a limited-edition trilogy of beers inspired by classic horror video games.

Brew York Halloween

Paying homage to Doom, Resident Evil, and The Last of Us, Brewcade is designed to appeal to fans of craft beer and gaming alike. There will also be Brewcade glasses, and a limited edition t-shirt.

“Halloween is always one of our favourite times of year, and Brewcade is the perfect way to bring together two things we love — craft beer and gaming culture,” said Yousef Doubooni, sales and marketing director at Brew York.

“Each beer has its own story, its own atmosphere, and its own sense of danger. We can’t wait for drinkers to experience the full Brewcade lineup this spooky season.”

The beers comprise:

Protocol (4.9% ABV), pumpkin spiced stout
Inspired by Resident Evil, Protocol is a dark stout layered with roasted malt and autumnal spices of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove.

Hellfire (6% ABV) cherry and rhubarb pie sour
Inspired by Doom, Hellfire channels the game’s relentless energy into a fiery explosion of tart cherry and rhubarb, rounded with a biscuity pastry finish.

Remnant (5.2% ABV) NEIPA
Inspired by The Last of Us, Remnant is bursting with Hallertau Blanc and Nelson Sauvin for white grape and gooseberry brightness, alongside Huell Melon and Strata for honeydew, tropical citrus, and dank undertones. Soft-bodied and juicy, it mirrors the bittersweet beauty and chaos of a world reclaimed by nature.
