Lost and Grounded Brewers and Friendly Records have announced that they raised £11,967 for War Child UK from their one-day event, Friendly Festival.

The successful event, in May, took place at Lost and Grounded’s brewery taproom. It was transformed into a unique event space with a full stage, street food vendors, and an additional bar pouring beers brewed just metres away from the taps.
Guest DJs and headliners Sleaford Mods were supported by Katy J Pearson, The 45s, and Zalizo, playing to a crowd of more than 400.
“It was an absolute privilege to put together the Friendly Festival alongside Alex, Annie, and all the lovely folks at Lost and Grounded,” said Tom Friend, founder of Friendly Records.
“It was a lot of hard work, but seeing the event come together, watching people have such a good time and raising as much money for War Child as we did, made it all worthwhile.
“A huge amount of thanks goes out to all the artists, crew, and staff that gave their time for free, and to all the lovely people who came and made the day so rewarding.”
