Vocation Brewery is celebrating its 10th anniversary with the launch of Returning Favourites, a series of 10 limited-edition beers comprising fan-favourite brews.
The campaign kicks off with Birthday Cake Stout, a specially brewed celebration beer. Next, four brewery-chosen favourites will be released. Then, there will be a consumer vote across social media to decide the final five.
“We’ve always put consumers at the heart of everything we do, while also redefining how people experience and engage with beer, making this a truly fitting birthday tribute,” said Chris Mitchell, marketing manager at Vocation Brewery.
Birthday Cake Stout, available in keg (6% ABV) and cask (4.5% ABV), is a rich and velvety beer. It offers a classic chocolate base layered with flavours of warm vanilla, sticky-sweet caramel, vibrant blueberries, and a touch of cherry to top it off.
The next four releases will be:
- Stargazer (6% ABV, sour IPA)
A refreshingly hoppy beer with the tartness of a sour, and the softness of a hazy IPA. - Strength in Numbers (5.4% ABV, NEIPA)
This complex, yet refreshing New England smooth pale offers tangerine and citrus flavours that pair with complementary notes of tropical pineapple and juicy mango. - Ascension (6.7% ABV, DDH IPA)
A smooth, full-bodied hazy IPA, delivering a soft mouthfeel from London Fog yeast and packed with Citra hops for intense citrus and tropical flavours. - Twisted Sour (4.5% ABV, blood orange sour)
This super-crisp summer beer is gently kettle-soured to enhance its bright Valencia and blood orange citrus notes.
Vocation has built a strong following of independent-thinking and bold beer drinkers. Starting in July, they will have the chance to pick their all-time favourite brews from the past 10 years by voting on Instagram, choosing from historical pale ales, sours, big IPAs, stouts, and Christmas specials.
“As an independent brewer, we have the freedom to expand consumer choice and variety — key to a healthy and vibrant beer category,” said Chris.
“By celebrating our 10 years in this way, we’re bringing a fantastic mix of expressions across a wide range of styles to the on-trade to help increase footfall, elevate the perception of beer, and meet a broad range of tastes, needs, and occasions.”
Each Returning Favourite beer will be available in keg format direct from Vocation Brewery, and via selected regional and national wholesalers. The special edition beers will also be available directly to consumers in 440ml cans from Vocation Brewery’s web shop.
