Estrella Damm 0.0 is coming this summer, a non-alcoholic beer offering the same refreshing taste and character as our regular Estrella Damm, says the brewer.
It’s being rolled out across UK on-trade hospitality venues and off-trade retailers. It’s currently available in Sainsbury’s.
To preserve the signature taste, after special yeast is added to cause natural fermentation, the alcohol is gently removed through advanced vacuum distillation. A unique process restores the aromatic components often lost in traditional methods of making non-alcoholic beer.
The light Mediterranean style of Estrella Damm 0.0% comes from the use of rice in the brewing process, which contributes to the beer’s refreshing and distinctive taste, pairing well with food.
“After a really successful trial period on draught with our partners at Youngs, we are really excited to release Estrella Damm 0.0% in the UK market,” said Luke White, Damm’s UK managing director.
“For over 20 years we have been experts in brewing non-alcoholic beers in Spain to the same high standards as our other Damm beers. We have been able to lean on these technological and quality specialists to bring the taste of the Mediterranean to the UK at 0.0%, to give consumers more choice, including draught!”
