Electric Bear are celebrating their tenth anniversary with the release of six collaboration beers, made with some top-notch brewers.

Electric Bear anniversary

The beers are:

More Than Ops & Grain (8% ABV DIPA, with Drop Project)
A super-hazy bombshell in the glass, it opens with spicy, herbal notes, and a hint of bubblegum on the nose, before a bold, boozy mouthfeel takes over. Ripe mango, peppercorn, and layered herbal flavours make it a bountiful brew for good times, great mates, and raising a glass to ten years of plenty. (brewer’s notes)

Pomona Piece of the Pie (4.6% ABV apple and blackberry crumble sour, with Åben)
With a generous malt base giving a rich burnt sienna glow, this is pudding poured into a glass. The aroma drifts like steam from a window sill pie, tempting you closer. Tart apple and juicy blackberry are layered with biscuity crumble notes.

Half-Hearted Appollogy (5.8% ABV IPA, with Pretty Decent)
Hazy with good head retention, it opens with aromas of papaya, dank notes, and a hint of citrus pith. Flavours of spice, melon, and resin shine through, finishing with a bitey bitterness and a long, dry finish.

It’s a Hard Nox Life (10% ABV maple and tonka imperial stout, with Mikkeller)
Celebrating Nox, the Roman goddess of night, with rich, bold flavours. Loaded with maple syrup, decadent tonka bean, and a hefty malt bill balanced by classic Goldings hops, it pours velvety and midnight-dark. Subtle notes of liquorice, cinnamon, and currants linger.

Mithras & Legends (4.8% ABV New Zealand pale, with Bullhouse)
Packed with the very best NZ hops, it pours a light haze and stays crisp from first sip to last. Quenchable and easygoing, flavours of lime, white grape, and nectarine shine through.

Saturn ‘Round Doing Nothing (6.5% ABV IPA, with Baron)
Pouring a soft, medium haze, it hits the nose with dank coconut and a touch of aniseed. The mouthfeel is creamy and full, carrying flavours of mango, honey, and piña colada.
