The Brewers of Europe and its scientific, technical arm, the European Brewery Convention, have announced the location and dates of the 2026 EBC Congress.
The 40th edition of the EBC Congress will take place in Rotterdam, in the Netherlands, from 6th-9th September.
Having begun in 1947, the 2026 edition will feature a streamlined programme, with fewer parallel sessions and a more focused selection of lectures.
The Congress will focus on:
- brewing technology and innovation;
- raw materials, including hops, barley, malt, adjuncts, and auxiliary aids;
- sustainability in theory and practice;
- digitalisation and AI in production and quality;
- and analysis and measurement science.
A dedicated website has been launched as the central information portal.
