We got recent winner of the Best Beer in the The Netherlands, Nevel Wild Ales, together with Land & Labour, and Butchers Tears for a chat about all things wild beer and more.

What are the challenges and rewards of brewing with wild yeast? Should we even categorise brewing in such a way? Listen in as these master discuss such ideas – and their beers.

🇮🇪Land & Labour are the leading Irish spontaneous fermentation brewery. Founded by the head brewer at Galway Bay Brewery as a side project it has gone on to great acclaim for it’s various wild sours.

🇳🇱Nevel Wild Ales are the leading Netherlands wild ale brewery. They forage their ingredients from a local forest in Nimjegen. Just days before we spoke they had won the award of the best beer in Netherlands – the first sour beer to ever win that award.

🇳🇱Amsterdam craft brewery Butchers Tears specialise in traditional ber styles such as Franconian beers, British-style ales, and raw beers.
