Liverpool Beer Festival, which returns from 19th-21st February, is to host the winter stage of CAMRA’s Champion Beer of Britain competition.

This means that, among the 200 cask beers and ciders on offer, festival visitors will have the chance to try the 50 years on the champion beer shortlist.
There will be session and strong porters and stouts, brown, red, and black ales, old ales, strong milds, and ‘speciality’ beers, covering anything from lagers, rye beers, wheat beers, and beers brewed with different yeasts such as Kviek, to flavoured beers.
Founded in 1974, Liverpool Beer Festival is one of CAMRA’s longest running festivals. It is staged in the Metropolitan Cathedral Crypt, just 10 minutes’ walk from Liverpool Lime Street Station.
