Cask Ale Week in continuing — still plenty of time to go. And did you know that several beers have come up with special ales to mark the event?

It’s not just about celebrating the joy of cask ale. They’re also showing the breadth and variety of the drink, from bitters to stouts, pales to IPAs. Here’s some to consider…
Genevieve (4.5% ABV)
A collaboration between Greene King and Thornbridge, a clean, crisp West Coast IPA with citrus and pineapple notes. Available in most Greene King pubs.
Gluten-Free Session Pale Ale (3.4% ABV)
A gluten-free version of Lancaster’s popular session brew, hop-forward to deliver a delicate fruit flavour and a crisp aftertaste.
Rev James Reserve (5.5% ABV)
A limited edition, more robust version of Welsh brewer Brain’s flagship Rev James ale, which it has been brewing for 140 years.
Rob Roy (4.5% ABV)
A warming, jet black smooth stout from Loch Leven Brewery, in Kinross, brewed with chocolate malt.
150 (4.8% ABV)
Brewed to mark Wadworth’s 150th anniversary, which falls on Saturday, 27th September. A classic bitter, available in Wadworth pubs.
Ancestry (3.8% ABV)
A new session ale from Arkell’s, brewed in their Victorian brewhouse, in Swindon, using a heritage barley from malt supplier French and Jupps.
