This clip is of the Thirsty Beagle brewing traditional Choctaw Beer (“Choc”).
It’s a traditional farmhouse type beer that was first brewed by the Choctaw Indians and went on to become an icon of the American Frontier.
As you can see it’s quite different from the standard brewing methods used today but it is typical of farmhouse beers in countries such as Norway, including the fact that it isn’t boiled.
