Brew York’s big bold Empress is back

Brew York’s annual release of Empress Tonkoko, their big tonka bean, vanilla, and coconut stout, is here, released today.

Brew York Empress Tonkoko

“Empress Tonkoko is the ultimate indulgence — our boldest, most luxurious take on the classic Tonkoko,” says the brewer of the 10.6% ABV beer.

“With over three times the original levels of coconut, tonka, and vanilla, this imperial milk stout is rich, creamy, and utterly decadent. Expect a velvety mouthfeel, intense layers of chocolate and coconut, and a warming boozy finish that commands respect.”

As ever, the brew comes with two companion variants, at the same ABV. There’s an orange brandy barrel-aged version, and another bursting with rich chocolate brownie intensity.
