South Africa has a large level of youth unemployment. Beer Is Art is a project to help generate employment through entrepreneurship in the beer industry, not only in brewing itself but also in the related elements such as marketing, podcasting, tourism, logistics and more.
It’s a voluntary project founded and run by Obakeng Malope who has been joined by two partners in India;
India’s premier beer podcaster Chatty Girija, host of the Cheers Chatty Podcast
Ankur Napa, a 12 year veteran of the Indian brewing scene
