Dorset’s Badger Brewery is releasing two new beers, adding to both its premium bottled ale (PBA) and Outland craft beer ranges.

Red Rascal cherry mild (4% ABV) combines the rich, malty character of a traditional mild with juicy, fresh cherry notes. Deep brown in colour, with flashes of red when the light catches the liquid, it has a ripe, vibrant cherry aroma and a fruity, full-bodied flavour.
The beer introduces a fox character, The Rascal, on the label. This builds on the style of the redesign of the Badger PBA range 18 months ago. Red Rascal has a confirmed listing with Waitrose.

Outland Tropical Pale Ale (4.3% ABV) is the latest addition to the Outland range of mainstream craft beers launched by Badger in 2023. Brewed using Cascade and Amarillo hops, the beer delivers waves of tropical fruit and bursts of fresh mango flavour. It is available in 440ml cans.
“The beer market is more competitive and dynamic than ever, and our combination of experience and innovation gives us a real advantage when it comes to expanding both the PBA range and our Outland craft brand,” said Giles Mountford, head of brand marketing for Badger Brewery.
“We’ve demonstrated that we can respond to changing consumer trends, while at the same time creating great beers that build on our nearly 250 years of brewing heritage and expertise in Blandford.”
