Hero IPA, a beer made by brewer Hogs Back for butchery brand Alf Turner, will be raising money for charity in Stonegate pubs this autumn.

Sales of The Hero IPA (4%) will support Help For Heroes, the national charity supporting wounded, injured, and sick veterans and their families.
The beer will be available within Stonegate’s estate this autumn, with launches in Publican Partnerships pubs from the end of October and in 174 Craft Union pubs from 5th November.
The timing has been chosen to coincide with Remembrance Day, giving customers the chance to raise a glass in honour of the UK’s armed forces community.
To date, Alf Turner has already raised more than £305,000 for Help for Heroes. This new Stonegate partnership is expected to raise a further £2,000 to £3,000 for the charity.
“We’re delighted that Stonegate is bringing Hero IPA into its pubs, particularly at this poignant time of year,” said Paul Turner, founder of Alf Turner.
“The beer was created to celebrate and support our Armed Forces, and with Remembrance Day approaching, we hope pub-goers across the country will join us in raising both a glass and vital funds for Help for Heroes.”
Miles Chesterman, managing director of Hogs Back Brewery, said: “We’re proud to brew Hero IPA for Alf Turner. It’s a beer with real character, crafted with care here in Surrey, and brewed for a purpose that goes far beyond the glass.
“Knowing that each pint poured in Stonegate pubs will help support our veterans makes this partnership especially meaningful for us.”
