North London pub The Blackstock has teamed up with local clothing brand Finsbury Park Ballooning Society on a limited-edition T-shirt, releasing this weekend.

The collaboration sees the pub work directly with Emil Martyr, the founder of Finsbury Park Ballooning Society, launched last year and inspired by the hot air balloon mosaics on the Finsbury Park Piccadilly Line platform.
The T-shirt draws on the history of Blackstock Road and the surrounding area, with the photoshoot taken in the pub.
“At The Blackstock, we are proud to champion community, celebrate the people, stories, the creativity that define Finsbury Park and the Blackstock Road,” said licensee Darlene.
“Our collaboration with the Finsbury Park Ballooning Society has provided a unique opportunity to honour the area’s rich history while supporting and championing the work of a very talented local young designer.
“The T-shirt not only pays tribute to the heritage of Finsbury Park, especially the Blackstock Road, but also captures a distinct moment in time, commemorating both place and community through a design that already feels truly iconic.”
Martyrm a Blackstock local, added: “At Finsbury Park Ballooning Society we believe a long day of ballooning is always best capped off with a long evening in the pub. Having the opportunity to collaborate with a local institution that plays a massive role in the local community and one where I’ve personally spent many hours is an incredibly exciting moment for the brand.”
The T-shirt launches at a launch at The Blackstock on Saturday (23rd May) from 7.30pm.
