Free beers for former BrewDog employees and Equity Punks

Two new releases from Glen Affric Brewery take inspiration from the BrewDog saga, with free pints available to former employees and Equity For Punks shareholders.

Glen Affric Watt

“This release isn’t just about beer,” says the brewer. “For a lot of people, two men and a dog started something that once stood for something bigger than the liquid in the can. It stood for independence. For rebellion. For doing things differently.

“People bought into that. Not just emotionally, but financially. Hundreds of thousands backed it. Funded it. Helped build it into what it became. And a lot of those same people have since been left behind.

“Staff let go. Bars shut overnight. Shareholders watching their investment unravel. No ceremony. No real warning. Just… gone. For something that once felt unsinkable, it disappeared quickly. This beer is a response to that. A reminder that the community behind craft beer still matters. Because that version of craft beer meant something. And for a lot of people, it still does.”

Both beers are built on the same base: a 5% ABV IPA, hopped with Krush, Idaho 7, and Amarillo. The Tropical Fruit Edition
brings orange, mango, and pineapple into the mix for a softer, brighter profile.

The beers area available to pre-order now, and will ship from 16th April.

To mark the release, Glen Affric Brewery is offering one free pint of Watt Killed Punk? or Watt Killed Punk? Tropical Fruit Edition to former BrewDog employees or Equity for Punks shareholders, redeemable at the Glen Affric Taproom. Bring proof of share ownership or proof of employment.
