Wiper and True are celebrating a decade of their flagship pale ale, Kaleidoscope, with a city-wide ‘Birthday Safari’, spanning 55 venues across Bristol.

Running from this week until 30th April, the event invites beer lovers to explore the city’s pubs, bars, restaurants, and independent shops in an interactive trail.
Kaleidoscope posters have been installed across participating venues, each featuring its own bespoke QR code. Visitors can scan the codes at every stop to unlock exclusive, limited-edition birthday treats.
Participants who visit at least eight venues and complete the trail will reach the safari finish, collecting rewards along the way while discovering some of Bristol’s best-loved hospitality spots.
The campaign celebrates not only Kaleidoscope’s 10-year milestone, but also Wiper and True’s deep connection to the city’s independent venues and thriving beer culture.
First brewed 10 years ago as an ever-evolving pale ale with changing hop combinations, Kaleidoscope has grown into one of Wiper and True’s most recognisable beers. Today, it features a signature blend of Citra, Simcoe, and Mosaic hops, delivering a bold, balanced flavour.
To mark the anniversary, Wiper and True has released two new limited-edition beers: Kaleidoscope Bright and Kaleidoscope Twist. Bright (4.2% ABV) is a crisp, clear lager adaptation of the original, showcasing bright citrus and tropical fruit flavours, with a clean, refreshing finish. Twist (5% ABV) is a hazy, fruit-forward pale ale, bursting with citrus and tropical notes, and finished with a juicy mango twist. Both beers are available in limited quantities while stocks last.
