Welsh brewers Tiny Rebel have been welcomed back as SIBA members following the creation of a standalone Welsh membership region.

“Tiny Rebel have played an important role in driving forwards craft beer in the UK, and I’m delighted to have them back as SIBA members and actively supporting the Indie Beer campaign,” said SIBA chief executive Andy Slee.
“Making independence from global beer giants clear has never been more vital, as independent breweries across the UK fight for their share of the beer market and seek to meet the huge demand for local, great-tasting indie beer.”
In an announcement posted to LinkedIn, Tiny Rebel co-founder Brad Cummings said: “Tiny Rebel is rejoining the Society of Independent Brewers and Associates (SIBA). And we’re not coming back quietly…
“Independent breweries do far more than just brew great beer. They create jobs, support communities, shape culture, and play a vital role in the UK hospitality economy.
“Since launching Tiny Rebel Brewery in Newport back in 2012, we’ve been proud to play a part in pioneering and shaping the independent craft beer scene in the UK. From day one we’ve believed that building a brewery means building something bigger than beer.
“Today, that commitment is reflected in our B Corp accreditation and the principles that guide how we operate as a business — focusing on people, community, and planet. That’s why we’ve rejoined SIBA and are proud to back the Indie Beer campaign.”
