Mondo Brewing Company has announced the release of Sophie, a 4.2% ABV hazy pale ale brewed to mark International Women’s Day.

Mondo Sophie

Fifty per cent of the profits from the beer will be donated to Spark The Noise, an award-winning charity working at the intersection of gender justice and the music industry. It ampifies the voices of girls, women, trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming people through music-making and community building.

The beer was designed and brewed by the women of Mondo, championing women and non-binary musicians, music lovers and hospitality workers both near and far, with artwork by Nina Sweeney.

Sophie is a 4.2% ABV hazy pale ale, brewed to be smooth, soft, and refreshing, with a modern haze, gentle bitterness, and vibrant hop aroma.

Mondo will launch Sophie on Thursday, 5th March, from 6pm at Mc & Sons in Vauxhall, bringing together London’s hospitality, music and brewing communities.

A charity raffle will run throughout the evening. Guests can donate directly to the chosen charity, show proof of donation, and receive raffle tickets for the chance to win prizes. From 9pm, live music will take over.

Guests who book in advance with Mondo will receive a complimentary pint of Mondo beer on arrival. To secure your free pint, RSVP by emailing gina@mondobeer.com.
