The owners of West Walls Brewing Co, in Carlisle, are taking on the Race Across Europe challenge to raise money for a Cumbria children’s hospice.

Race Across Europe

The event is inspired by the BBC’s Race Across the World and will see pairs of competitors race across the continent over eight days in October.

Joe Harrison and Fergus Campbell will be raising money for Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, two charities that provide care and support to people with life-limiting conditions and their families.

The duo have set themselves a fundraising target of £6,000. Donations can be made via their Just Giving page.

To say thank you and to get the ball rolling, everyone who donates, any amount at all, will be entered into a prize draw with three prizes up for grabs: top prize of a £100 taproom voucher, and second and third prizes of cases of West Walls beer.

The draw will take place at the end of February.
