Beer Tours UK is offering a new Golf-with-Beer experience for the North West of England region, following a successful trial in 2025.

The highly-experienced Chester-based operator has introduced golfing opportunities to add to its well-established tour itineraries across Cheshire, Shropshire, Lancashire. Derbyshire, and North Wales.

The summer of 2025 saw the inaugural Golf-with-Beer tour successfully run for Canadian guests.

“Across the years we have combined our tours on request with several activities, including mountain walking in Scotland, the Lakes, and North Wales,” said Beer Tours UK founder Steve Hobman.

“In 2005, we hit a  hole in one to successfully run our first Golf-with-Beer tour itinerary. Working with some of the North West’s top courses we combined some very excellent beer tastings in breweries and pubs with premium golf days.

“This pioneering programme is aimed at adventurous, beer-loving golfers, who would like to explore the finest North West of England courses together with our unique British beer scene and sample the cask ale delights it offers. These are bespoke itineraries to meet the needs and budgets of golfers at various levels.”

Beer Tours UK was established by beer journalist and publicist Steve to showcase the rich heritage of British brewing and the exciting independent brewers that bring freshness and innovation to the UK scene. Tours can be arranged around a variety of activities, such as hill walking, kayaking, and golf, or just good old-fashioned sight-seeing.

The company works closely with guests on carefully-tailored itineraries to take care of all the bookings for hotels and courses, and welcomes enquiries to explore the options. See beertoursuk.com for testimonials and further information.
