Registration for the 2026 World Beer Cup has officially opened, organiser the Brewers Association, has announced. It is open until 12th December.

“The World Beer Cup represents the pinnacle of brewing achievement,” said competition director Chris Williams.
“Each year, we’re inspired by the creativity, quality, and innovation from brewers around the world. We look forward to welcoming breweries of all sizes and backgrounds to compete in 2026.”
The competition was established in 1996 to promote the international exchange of brewing excellence. It features more than 100 beer style categories, evaluated by a panel of international judges.
In 2025, the competition expanded to include six cider categories and attracted more than 8,300 entries from 1,761 breweries across 49 countries.
Earlier this month, it was announced that national champions from the Indie Beer Awards, organised by the Society of Independent Brewers and Associates (SIBA), will have their beer entered into the World Beer Cup. The entries will be fully funded by the British trade association.
