The Stag, a Hampstead, London, local, owned by Young’s, is to re-open on 22nd January following a major refurbishment.

The Stag Hampstead

“Still every inch a classic British pub, but turned up a notch with carefully restored original features, including the signature mounted stags, ornamental mirrors, and open fireplaces,” says the pub company.

Outside, the expansive beer garden now has a dedicated bar, and outdoor screens for key sporting fixtures, including the forthcoming Six Nations.

Behind the bar, expect a selection of craft beers, including five rotating taps from breweries like Pretty Decent, Verdant, and Deya, alongside familiar favourites including Guinness, Asahi, and Modelo. There will be a good range of food, too, including pub classics, and a seasonal martini menu.

Upstairs at The Stag is a private event space — in truth, three connected spaces — with its own beer taps.

The pub will be open seven days a week, from 11am until late evening (12.30am on Fridays and Saturdays).
