Siren teams up with film studio for Predator brew

Siren Craft Brew has revealed Soundwave: First Hunt, a flavoursome IPA celebrating the release of 20th Century Studios’ Predator: Badlands movie.

Siren Soundwave First Hunt

The beer is a special edition of the brewery’s flagship Soundwave IPA, made unique by the addition of technologically advanced hop products, and a tropical profile designed to make it the perfect accompaniment to watching a movie.

The beer takes its name from the ‘First Hunt. Last Chance’ tagline of the movie. Soundwave IPA was seen as the perfect fit for the theme.

“We jumped at the chance to join the Predator: Badlands campaign,” said Siren Craft Brew founder Darron Anley. “Our team have loved this franchise from the 80s through to Dan Trachtenberg’s incredible Prey, so it’s been a privilege to design a beer inspired by the new movie.”

Siren’s head of marketing, Andy Nowlan, added: “Soundwave: First Hunt brings our flagship beer to a whole new audience. For the first time ever, our Siren is replaced by a bespoke Predator-inspired illustration, with our protagonist front and centre.

“At an approachable 5% ABV and with waves of hop additions, it’s an adventure of flavour that can be enjoyed in pubs, bars, restaurants, and cinemas alike.”

Soundwave: First Hunt IPA is available now in 440ml cans and branded gift packs from sirencraftbrew.com and Siren venues. It is also available either in cans, or on tap, with selected partners, including MEATliquor, Brewhouse & Kitchen, The Light Cinemas, and other independent on-trade and off-trade locations.
