Job advert: Packaging Operator
Hours: Full time. 37.5 hours per week. 8:00-4:30pm Monday-Friday
As a Packaging Operator at our Eight Degrees Brewing brewery in Mitchelstown, you will play a key part in ensuring the consistent quality and presentation of the beers as they leave the brewery. You will be working in a small team and reporting directly to our Head Brewer.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
– measuring and monitoring beer carbonation,
– cleaning and sterilising packaging equipment
– carrying out day-to-day canning, bottling and kegging packaging operations.
You’ll also perform quality tests on packaged beer – with a particular focus on dissolved oxygen levels – to maintain our high production standards.
This hands-on physically demanding role will also involve:
– general cleaning duties throughout the packaging area
– preparation and picking of orders for dispatch
– local deliveries and sales
– merchandising across Cork using the company van.

- Full Drivers Licence
- Excellent work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to commute to Mitchelstown
- Experience in working in a brewery is an advantage but not a prerequisite as full training will be provided
