One of Bristol’s smallest breweries, Basement Beer, has teamed up with neighbouring New Bristol Brewery for a long-anticipated collaboration.
Feeling Peachy is a 6.5% ABV IPA bursting with ripe peach, nectarine, and citrus notes, layered over a soft wheat and oat base. The new IPA will be available from 22nd November.
A year in the making, the collaboration between BS2 neighbours Basement Beer and New Bristol Brewery was born from after-work discussions at the Basement taproom on Upper York Street. Feeling Peachy combines each brewery’s strengths, with Basement Beer’s passion for fruity flavours and New Bristol Brewery’s bold approach.
To celebrate the launch, a release party will be held on 22nd November at Basement Beer, on 32 Upper York Street. Guests will be able to sample the beer, purchase cans, and meet the teams behind the brew. Feeling Peachy will also be released across Bristol and the UK, focusing on venues around Stokes Croft.
“It’s been fantastic working with the New Bristol Brewery team to bring this beer to life,” said Ben Evans, owner and head brewer at Basement Beer. I’ve been serving their team since we opened, so it’s great that we finally managed to plan a collab.
“As a small brewery, it’s invaluable to have larger businesses around who are willing to share knowledge and equipment, and we couldn’t be more excited about the launch!”
