The festival, now in its 36th year, has so far raised funds in excess of £277,000, and the organisers of the 2025 event are hoping to hit the £300,000 mark.
The 2024 festival raised a record-breaking £27,500, all made possible by the generous support of local companies and breweries through barrel sponsorship. To sponsor a barrel next year, contact Dave Harris on 07977 918130 or via beerex.co.uk/.
The 2025 festival will welcome Cerne Abbas Brewery as the main sponsor for a third year. They will have a selection of ales on offer and be in attendance over the weekend.
The festival charity will be Somerset and Dorset Blood Bikes, motorcyclists who volunteer to courier vital medical supplies.
The festival will showcase more than 80 real ales, complemented by a large selection of traditional ciders. The evening sessions will feature live music, while conversation and banter will rule at lunchtime. There will be a raffle at all four sessions with funds going to the Dorchester Youth and Community Centre.
Tickets will go on sale from 1st December, priced £11 per session. Drinkers will receive a commemorative glass, festival programme with full beer and cider list, with tasting notes, and a free first pint.
Confirmed ticket outlets are:
