Joseph Holt is giving customers the chance to have a pub of their choice named after them as part of the Manchester brewer’s 175th anniversary celebrations.
As part of a series of commemorative events, the brewery has released 16 individual beer mats. Each one offers a nugget of information about the history of Joseph Holt and the timeline of its 175-year journey as a family brewer.
The beer mats are available at all of Joseph Holt’s 127 pubs across the North West. Those who complete the challenge of collecting all 16 will be entered into a draw, and the winner will have a pub of their choice named after them for two weeks. Picked at random, the winner and a group of their friends will also be invited to a VIP party.
“Joseph Holt is so proud of its 175th milestone, of which our customers have played such a critical part since our pubs are in the heart of the communities where they are located,” said Joseph Holt Pubs director Mark Norbury.
“We want to repay this loyalty and sense of historic connection by giving one special person a chance to see their favourite Joseph Holt pub named after them.
“Even though one person will win the chance to have a pub named after them, we’re sure customers will enjoy gathering in, and reading, the beer mats. These are likely to become such a collectors’ item and are also a lovely way to learn more about Joseph Holts history and its amazing journey.”
The competition to collect all 16 beer mats will run until Thursday, 31st October. If you’ve collected them all, take a photo of the full set and email it to social@joseph-holt.com.
