Join us for a very special session about raw ales and other farmhouse brewing techniques. What are they and what can they offer modern brewers? The Ultimate Real Ale Craft Beers?

To discuss the topic I was joined by Lars Marius Garshol and two amazing craft brewers.

Lars Marius Garshol is the worlds foremost expert in Traditional Brewing Techniques (he literally wrote the book) and is the man who brought Kviek to the worlds attention. You’ll also remember his sessions on Lithuanian Farmhouse Beer.

Butchers Tears are an Dutch craft brewery and brewpub, based in Amsterdam. They focus on more traditional techniques for making real ale craft beer. They have been repitching the same yeast for the last 10 years. Despite being in a the middle of a major city they produce raw ales, Scandinavian farmhouse ales and more.

DOK Brewing from Ghent in Belgium brew a wide range of beers but have a particular interest in traditional beers such as mixed fermentation real ales and raw ales.
