The Making of a Brewery

We are a contract brewery based in Ireland to the world. The company was founded in 2017 by three friends with different backgrounds and a love for beer and art. Alberto Pernas (Co-founder/Finance), Cristiano Gasparoti (Co-founder/Head-brewer), and Vilson Junior (Co-founder/Marketing).

The idea of setting up a brewery came from house parties in the backyard of our house in Dublin city. We used to invite friends over to do some home-brew experiments, graffiti and jam sessions. We started getting calls to bootleg those home-brews to underground parties in Dublin – this is where everything started, and the idea sparked when we realized that our beers in connection with emerging artists would be something new in the Irish scene.

We have always been involved with the art and culinary scene, our group of friends is also involved in the field of art and music, so we decided to create a brand that would bring all of these together. Our vision has always been able to experiment with new things and explore the world of creativity. We decided to combine our passion for beer with visual arts, commissioning different illustrators to design our beer labels to complement the uniqueness we aim to bring to every brew.

Our brewing style comes from our love for hops, their potential, and complexity. Our head-brewer Cris also has a kitchen background and gets inspired by using kitchen and brewing techniques together, ideas, and ingredients to come up with new recipes. As he says, “when I’m cooking, I’m thinking beer”. We have been mostly focused on developing some modern style hoppy forward beers, and fruited brews. We love some tropical flavors and aromas popping out of the glass.

Moreover, we aim to explore the world of brewing beer, always with a lot of creativity and fun. We get inspired by talented artists and chefs and it helps us to create new recipes and to bring something special to our brews every time. Achieving the quality we aim for our product and the satisfaction of the people when sipping our brews is the fuel that keeps us going.

Our mission is working in collaboration with fresh talents, experimenting with different ingredients, and promoting creative consciousnesses.

“We want to inspire collaboration among a wide variety of talented people, primarily to promote who they are and what they do, helping to facilitate the dawn of a new connected and innovative creative community”

Curiosities

First Festival – Big Grill (2017): That was a crazy one. We were so excited to be at our first festival that we drank more beer than sold. We were gathering with the other vendors and friends after the doors were closed to drink and celebrate our first appearance. After all, it was fun, with some headaches and empty kegs. Living like a rockstar (lol).

First Client – Juniors/Paulie’s Pizza (2017): We brewed some exclusive beers to these legends, Paulie and Barry Mcnerney, the owners of Paulies and Juniors Restaurants in Beggars Bush. They were very supportive and motivated us to make this happen, real gents!

First Reward: We got the best new brewery and best branding in 2017 (first year) by the Irish Sun.

First Beer: Graciosa Tropical IPA, was the first beer we brewed and the most popular one. Graciosa is our flagship beer and the only core we have.
