Food and travel content creators Topjaw are celebrating their 10th anniversary with the launch of a limited edition beer created with 40ft Brewery.

Available from 5th November, all profits from New England IPA Overnight Success will help to raise funds for StreetSmart, a charity close to Topjaw founders Jesse Burgess and Will Warr’s hearts.

The charity supports a variety of causes, including homelessness projects, and providing housing, outreach, and hospitality or employability training programmes that help vulnerable people gain skills, stability, and independence through work.

The name of the beer is a nod to the term that is sometimes used to describe the duo. But the truth is that the success of Topjaw has been anything but an overnight success.

“In reality, it’s been 10 years of graft, enthusiasm, and love for the hospitality industry,” said Jesse and Will. “Overnight Success celebrates not just how far we’ve come, but the people, places, and stories that made it all possible.”

To create their celebration beer, they worked alongside 40ft Brewery founder Steve Ryan and his team, who coincidentally also celebrate their 10th anniversary this year.

Overnight Success (5% ABV) is heavily hazy and soft, while pouring gold with a slight orange glow. Tasting notes include ripe mango, peach, and passionfruit, with a subtle splash of white grape and a touch of dank to keep it grounded. It will be available in a selection of pubs and restaurants across London.

“It has been great working with Jesse and Will to create an anniversary beer,” said Steve Ryan. “We were thrilled to hear about the boys’ love of an IPA, and together we have brewed a fresh NEIPA which we can’t wait for fans to try across some of our joint favourite pubs and bars in the capital.”
