Sheffield’s True North Brew Co has collaborated with Salt Beer Factory, of Saltaire, on a new West Coast pale called The Wool Monty.

True North Salt Monty

Available in True North venues and selected SALT bars from today, as part of Sheffield Beer Week, The Wool Monty is playfully named after Saltaire’s fame for wool manufacturing and Sheffield-set film The Full Monty.

With distinct aromas of citrus, light herbal notes, and punchy hoppiness, this West Coast pale is true to tradition, say the brewers. Generously hopped with Columbus, Centennial, and Amarillo to create a depth of bitterness, it has a light spiciness, combined with lemon citrus flavours.

“We’re excited to have collaborated with SALT on this new West Coast pale,” said True North head brewer, Dean Hollingsworth. “It’s always a pleasure to work with other breweries and build connections.

“We’e proud of Wool Monty and look forward to serving it in our venues.”
