Heartwood Inns has opened its 35th pub, The Woodman, in Southgate, North London, which has undergone a significant refurbishment.

Leading the team is general manager Filip Tlustochowicz, alongside head chef Ram Rana Magar, who will deliver Heartwood’s seasonally changing, sustainably-sourced menu.

To celebrate its opening, The Woodman will host a lively programme of weekly events. There will be steak nights on Wednesdays, live music on Friday, and a weekly quiz and games on Tuesdays.

Throughout February, the pub will also host meet the brewer events on Mondays, giving guests the chance to discover and sample beers from a range of brewing partners.

Families and four-legged friends are also welcome, with Paws in the Pub every Saturday in February. This is a community dog meet offering complimentary tea and coffee for owners and limited-edition Woodman dog bandanas for furry visitors.

“We’re incredibly proud to be opening our 35th pub with The Woodman in Southgate,” said Heartwood Inns chief executive Richard Ferrier.

“This is a fantastic community pub, and we’ve taken great care to restore it as a warm and welcoming place for everyone. With a full calendar of events, from steak nights to live music and dog-friendly gatherings, we’re excited to become a true hub for the local area.”
