Sharp’s Brewery has picked up a quintet of medals at the International Beer Challenge 2022, following recent recognition at this year’s World Beer Awards.
The Cornish brewer picked up a total of five medals, including a silver medal for Sharp’s Atlantic Pale Ale. Atlantic Pale brings together flavours of zesty American hops with a delicate sweetness.
There was a silver medal for limited edition Sharp’s Camel Valley Pilsner. It’s a lightly-hopped pilsner, created in collaboration with fellow North Cornwall drinks producer Camel Valley Vineyard.
Meanwhile, Sharp’s Offshore pilsner, Doom Bar, and Chalky’s Bite picked up bronze medals.
“Having so many of our beers recognised by the expert panel at the International Beer Challenge is testament to the passion and commitment of our team to produce some of the world’s best beer,” said James Nicholls, Sharp’s marketing controller.
“There are some phenomenal breweries competing in these awards, so to be considered among the best is a real achievement.
“It’s been an incredibly successful year for Sharp’s Brewery so far, taking home ten awards across multiple internationally renowned events. The winning formula of a great range of unique beers coupled with our hardworking team is sure to deliver even more accolades in the future.”
