Orbit Beers will be celebrating its eighth anniversary at its brewery and taproom in Walworth, south London, on 2nd July.

Visitors can expect a fresh batch of multi-award-winning Köln lager Nico, and two new beers: Orbit’s barrel-aged

Nico Cuvée de Cologne 2022, and the new XX Nico, an 8% ABV double Kölsch.

The double Kölsch was the first ‘White Label Series’ beer ever produced by Orbit Beers in 2016 — WLS001. It’s being brough back especially for this anniversary.

Established in south London in 2014, Orbit Beers is deeply rooted in European brewing traditions with a modern approach. It takes classic styles and makes them its own, with an eye for finesse and drinkability.

The celebrations will focus on Orbit’s award-winning flagship lager Nico and will include a freshly brewed batch on tap. In true Orbit Beers style, there will be DJs playing, and a menu lined up from resident chef lightnin’ Hot Things.

“We are so happy to be celebrating our eighth year in the same site under the railway arches in Walworth,” said brewery founder Robert Middleton.

“Having made it through the pandemic as a team and managing to double the size of our brewery earlier this year, this is an exciting time for Orbit Beers. We want to celebrate with the community that have supported us throughout.”

The event is free to attend. To book a table at the taproom for Saturday, 2nd July, visit orbitbeers.com/bookings/
