Flavourly has revealed details of all the beers in its new Small Batch Originals range, which officially launches today.

Flavourly Originals

The concept has been designed to encourage the ongoing development and launch of new, high -quality, boundary-pushing beers. It will see Flavourly collaborating with top UK breweries to create these and bring them to market.

Assean Sheikh, co-founder and chief marketing officer at Flavourly, said: “At Flavourly our mission is to Make Great Beer Happen, and we’ve launched our Small Batch Originals range to do just that.

“By collaborating with top breweries we are able to develop small batch premium beers that showcase just how good the UK brewing industry is.”

Details of the range and pack sizes are available at flavourly.com/originals. All packs include a Flavourly magazine and an artisan snack.

The beers (with brewers’ notes)

Anspach & Hobday: The New English IPA (5.5% ABV)

This draws inspiration from the classic, genre defining IPAs of the US, reimagined through the lens of English brewing’s past and present. A blend of contemporary English hops, led by Ernest, bring bright aromas of citrus, apricot, and spice, while a complex malt bill, including the heritage malt Chevallier, brings a balancing, biscuity sweetness. A clean American ale yeast strain allows the true character of the malt and hops to shine through, keeping the beer precise, balanced, and bright in appearance.

Brew By Numbers: 05 Sabro and Mosaic (6% ABV) IPA

This juicy IPA is loaded with Sabro and Mosaic hops, giving vibrant flavours of citrus and pine and a lasting finish of pineapple and stone fruit.

Siren Craft Brew: Harness Your Hops (6% ABV) Double-dry-hopped IPA

Packed full of big-hitting hops. Citra and Simcoe lead the way with punchy tropical, passionfruit, and citrus notes, backed up with Chinook and Sabro for piney aromas.

Tempest Brewing Co: Parallel Dimensions (5.2% ABV) New Zealand-hopped New England IPA

One minute you’re wistfully walking along taking in the vistas of New Zealand, the next you’re traversing the leaf-strewn roads of New England. There can only be one of two explanations: you’ve fallen through a portal into a parallel dimension or, more plausibly, you’ve just experienced a New England IPA crushed with Kiwi hops. In the alternative reality, you’re sampling the best from either side of the Pacific, while marvelling at the citrus softness and big mouthfeel of this Kiwi-hopped NEIPA, all the while questioning your very existence within this realm.

Wild Card Brewery: Helter Skelter (6.1% ABV) IPA

A blend of pale malt, wheat, and oats paired with our house yeast blend gives a thick, slightly sweet, hazy base. We have balanced this against a blend of Simcoe, Mosaic, and Citra, and then added a final heavy dry hop of Cryo-Simcoe. A beer with soft apricot and tart citrus fruit flavour.

Wiper And True: Simple Things (6.2% ABV) East Coast IPA.

Citra and Simcoe — an iconic hop duo known and loved across the world. For this IPA we’ve drawn on our learning from years of development and refinement to create a classically bold East Coast IPA with punchy, fruit flavours. Think citrus, blackcurrants, and apricots and a soft, fluffy mouthfeel.
