Beer importer and wholesaler Cave Direct is bringing Slow Life, a complex, dry Irish nitro stout, made by Dublin’s Whiplash Beer, to the UK.

“We wanted to create a delicious, independent alternative to the market that would be available year-round, not just a seasonal special,” said Whiplash co-founder Alan Wolfe.
“Stout is a style synonymous with Ireland, and in particular Dublin, so as a Dublin brewer we feel we’re in a great place to make our mark on the style and do it the justice it deserves.”
He added: “Slow Life offers an appealing alternative to the more mainstream macro beer styles, allowing consumers to
experience a piece of Irish brewing culture.
“The 4.5% ABV strikes a perfect balance, making the perfect full pint. And we know when you taste it, Slow Life speaks for itself.”
Neil Kitching, director at Cave Direct, said: “We are excited to welcome Slow Life to our core portfolio. Cave Direct is dedicated to offering an exceptional range of beers to our customers, and this nitro stout is firmly part of that vision.
“Working with a brewery such as Whiplash, there is an incredible opportunity to bring a premium alternative to a growing market. We can’t wait to get started on this project and we are looking forward to seeing Slow Life pouring across the UK.”
Slow Life will be available through Cave Direct from 1st November.
