Brew York has a trio of new releases in can this week, comprising two very different stouts and the latest in their experimental Hop Sessions series.
The latest incarnation of Imperial Tonkoko is Mookies & Cream (7.5% ABV). It’s milk stout infused with the flavours of cookies and cream, a rich biscuit base being followed by a sweet, creamy aftertaste.
Custard Cream (5.5% ABV) is a custard cream white stout that “captures the essence of the classic British biscuit”, says the brewer. Expect indulgent flavours of rich vanilla, creamy sweetness, and buttery biscuit, wrapped in a smooth, golden brew.
The Hop Sessions beer is number 12 in Brew York’s series, a New England IPA hopped with Cascade, Centennial, and Simcoe.
