Cheltenham and Gloucester Beer Week returns this month, offering a variety of special events, and also supporting two local charities.
A total of ten breweries took part in the collaboration, the others being:
- Brewhouse & Kitchen
- Clavell and Hind
- Corinium Ales
- Elements Brewery
- The Fresh Standard
- Gloucester Brewery
- Goffs Brewery
- Stroud Brewery
More than 30 venues are taking part in the event, with most taking either a keg or cask of the collaboration beer. The venues are each hosting a beer-related event, ranging from beer and food matching with a local chef to music nights and quizzes.
“The aim of the week is to promote the incredible breweries and venues that we have in Gloucestershire, alongside raising money for the deserving charities as well as getting interesting beer into the hands of local residents,” said beer week committee member Darren MacDonald. ” It promises to be one of the highlights of the beer year for all in the county.
“If you are in or near Gloucestershire during the week, then take a look at the website and join us at one or more of the events. You’ll be sure to have some good beer, great company and be raising money for our good causes.”
