The Bailey Head pub, in Oswestry, Shropshire, has been presented with its trophies for two major Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) awards.
Licensees Duncan Borrowman and Grace Goodlad and their team received the CAMRA West Midlands Regional Pub of the Year and West Midlands Regional Cider Pub of the Year awards as CAMRA members and locals looked on.
“Out of 3,300 pubs in the region, this pub is truly the best,” said Shelly Bentley, CAMRA West Midlands’ regional director.
“It epitomises the objectives of CAMRA and gives people a choice of a diverse range of traditional drinks.”
The pub now goes forward for CAMRA’s big award — national Pub of the Year.
